Hot New Korean movie of February 2015

Hot New Korean movie of February 2015

Compared to January, the Korean box office of Funerary for Domestic movies seems quite in comparison with mostly small indie Korean movies coming out in theaters. The biggest mainstream movie in  Funerary is Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island (2015)

This is in contrast with the Hollywood movie situation in Korea. We are seeing a lot of the Funerary Domestic Hollywood movies earlier than America, In addition, a lot of the Oscar favorites are opening this month.

For example
Jupiter ascending, Fox Catcher, 7th son, King's men, Imitation game, Saint Vincent, Focus

These are the Korean movies opening in February.

Opening on the 5th February 2015

C'est si bon (2015) 쎄시봉
This movie is about a period fictional unknown third member of popular duo group in Korean folk music.
You may think of it as having a similar structure to  Backbeat(1994) which focused on a early member of the Beatles

Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island
조선명탐정 : 각시투구꽃의 비밀

This movie is a squeal to Detective K: Secret Of Virtuous Widow (2011) which was the 7th highest grossing movie in all of the Korean box office that year. Detective K is once again on the case but with a counterfeit ring in this squeal set in the Joseon period

A Matter of Interpretation 꿈보다 해몽

This movie seems to be an indie dramady or sorts. You have a stage actress meeting up with detective who likes to interpret dreams as an hobby. The plot description is confusion thus I expect this movie to be weird.
